hold Kansas to only 7 points? This is the same Kansas team that scored 21 and 31 on OU and Tech

 

Yes they did, and without a circus catch on fourth and 11 it might have been a shutout.

 

Big time step up by the D with Orackpo getting very limited playing time. OU beat KU by 14 at HOME and gave up 31 points, style wise there is no comparison to a 35-7 whipping on the road in the freezing cold.

 

Style wise how does beating ou head to head measure up?

 

Wonderful game today. An excellent effort on both sides of the ball.

Give some credit to the KU defense in the first half for trying to keep the Jayhawks in the game.

 

Great defensive game but when comparing to OU and Tech note that KU's 2 best offensive players (Meier and Sharp) were dinged up and barely played today.

Also, Reesing seems like he sucks now

 

Tech also caused KU to commit 5 turnovers.

 

Great effort by the team. but KU folded their tents on this season after OU.

 

It sure looked like KU was trying to me.

 

Oh they were trying, they just couldn't do anything about it.

 

I didn't see Rak on the field? I thought Eddie Jones, Sam Acho and Henry Melton did a great job.

 

I love it when the Horns make teams look like they weren't trying.

 

KU did pass up a couple of FG's going for it on 4th down, so that helped with the low point total. Mangino has my respect for trying to win. FG's weren't going to cut it and he had the balls to press his luck and play to win.

Then again, we stopped 'em, so that counts for something.
