that "race car" spelled backwards is still "race car?"

Or that if you take the first letter in "eat" and put it on the back it becomes its own past tense?

    Or that monosyllabic isn't?

Me either until yesterday; I felt I had to tell somebody.

Nobody had posted on this site for 28 days so I thought I would try to muster up something.

Dog spelled backwards is God was kinda old, so I did the best I could on short notice.

Otto is similar, with the advantage of being the same upside down. It is also toot spelled inside out.

Did you know that "bookkeeping" is the only English word with three consecutive double letters. (Unless somebody points out another one that I don't know about.)

Epidemiology is the shortest 7-syllable English word.

No, don’t thank me. I am pleased to contribute to this important discussion.

    Peter O’Toole has a double-phallic name.

I wonder if his middle name is Richard.

It is fitting that ‘boob’ and ‘tit’ are spelled the same forwards and backwards since they refer to organs that are, in principle, symmetric.

while looking at a site that I thought might produce some more grist for this mill, I ran across something that might or might not be of some interest.

A fellow said that he sent ten puns to ten different friends to see if he could get a laugh and no pun in ten did.

queueing is the only word in English that has five vowels in a row.

Not sure where that row is, but queueing is in it.

Misspelled is one of the 100 most frequently misspelled words in the English language. I think it appropriate that a word should thusly call attention to itself.

Why meddle if you know what someone was trying to communicate? I won't go so far as Andrew Jackson and say "It's a poor man who knows but one way to spell a word."

sorry, but it is too early in the day for snail riddles. Either way, I want to spread a little garlic sauce on the critter and eat him or her, whichever the case may be.
