We got to talking to the folks at Bark N Purr the other day about one of our dogs. Ella is 7 now, and we think she's a rottie-great dane mix. She's a big dog-- about 115 lbs.

Anyway, now that she's getting older, we've noticed her getting up much slower, (sometimes cries a bit,) and is avoiding going upstairs in the house.

Bark and Purr gave us a sample of this DOGtor Rx stuff, that's supposed to take care of all kinds of dog ailments. She's been on it a few days now, and we're seeing some improvement.

Problem is, she's so big, they recommend she take 3 pills a day. And this stuff is pricey-- like 60 bucks a month.

Anyway, before we decide for sure to go for it, I figured we could see if anybody else has used this stuff with any success?

    Any advice is appreciated.

If it actually worked, there would be better drugs for osteoporosis in humans. What are the ingredients? Probably has an NSAID to relieve the pain and decrease inflammation.
