Texas Governor Announces the State Will Not Be Accepting Any More Refugees, Becomes First in Nation to Decline Them

Before anyone tries to say this is mean and cold ;More refugees have previously been settled in Texas than any other state. Over the last decade, Texas has received approximately 10% of all refugees resettled in the US.

 

At some point enough is enough for a while.

 

Probably won't hold up in court.

I think there's a good chance if the EO is interpreted to give states veto power over resettling refugees.

 

Does that 10% include the estimated 750,000 to one million undocumented in the Houston SMSA?
