Durant may be the 4th or 5th best forward in the conference (behind Duncan, Dirk, & Stoudamare at least) but I think he might be playing the best SF. Note: KG must start for the east.

Yeah, Bowen probably doesn't deserve to start for the west, esp. considering that he doesnt even start for the Spurs. I think a problem with selecting forwards for the all star game is that all forwards are grouped together, and power forwards (in general) tend to amass more rebounds by the nature of their position (playing closer to the basket more often). In a similar vein, I think 1 PG and 1 SG should be named starters every year. In the West, CP3 and Kobe are pretty obvious selections. In the east, it's fuzzier. Assuming I can play D Wade at PG, I'd probably pick Granger. Certainly not AI.
