Link Obviously going to be debatable no matter what. If I had to pick, Bill Snyder is #1. Didn't expect to see him there. Didn't see him there... nor in the top 5 nor in the top 10 nor in the top 25 nor in the top 50 You have to go all the way down to #55 before you find the coach who took the losing-est program in college football history and turned it into one of the best programs in a BCS conference. And on top of that, a man of great character, the guy on whose team you'd want your son. To be fair, most of the choices in the top 10 were guys who built the program into what it is (guys like Bobby Bowden, Bear Bryant, and so on). That's more impressive than stepping into an already-great program (or maybe waking a sleeping giant) and simply winning a bunch of games. My favorite choice in the top 10 is Eddie Robinson. He was the band director too?!?
