Cause he is already on thin ice regarding his job. Alternatively I wonder if Shaka can play a role on behalf of the department to resolve this. If so, he would actually be earning his salary.

Yeah this one falls under "already hanging by a thread."

I think if he was relieved of his coaching duties and transitioned into a role in the athletics department for the remainder of his salary, he would be a pretty decent example of a guy that could attempt a job like this. I've never not liked him as a role model... he's just kind of a crappy coach.

Maybe Shaka is doing the wise thing which would be to counsel the leaders of the school IN PRIVATE and not making public demands that cause ill will and major difficulties in coming together.

You don't have to be a Black Lives Supporter AND draw hard lines in the sand in front of the entire world.

With Herman fanning the flames he has turned up the heat under his chair....As far as I'm concerned he better win the Big 12 this season, if we have one, or he should be fired....We don't need a California liberal who calls our fanbase racists, and we sure don't need one who can't do his job of bringing championships to Texas. But only the BMD will determine that.

You've had a hard-on for Tom Herman since your very first day here. We get it. You hate the guy. Come up with something new to say for a change.

Perhaps he is involved, but do to the lack of interest in Texas basketball nobody is reporting what he thinks or is doing.

Has anyone heard from Shaka? The original post was genius, but no answer yet to the question. I hope he has a good season because I believe it’s no accident that we didn’t hear from the players.
