I needed to smoke 6 briskets, and my pit only holds four comfortably. So, I took the grill off my barrel grill, emptied out four cans of Ranch Style beans, and voila! Six brisket capacity.
What's so wrong with knocking back four cans of beans? No, I put them in the freezer. I think there's a dip you can make with them that's pretty good - mash them up, add cheese and hot sauce. Something like that. Just in time for Bowl season, too.
