...aaannndd the rumor has been confirmed. After a 3 year absence from racing, 7-time World Driving Champion Micheal Schumacher is back, with the Brawn GP team (now Mercedes GP Petronas F1). The Link So that gives us some pretty nice looking teams for next year: Mercedes: Shumacher/Rosberg Ferrari: Alonso/Massa McLaren: Hamilton/Button Red Bull: Vettel/Webber Should be interesting. Can't wait.
I'm hoping Alonso and Massa can bring Ferrari back to the front this year to fight for the titles. However with the engine freeze, and the apparent disparity between the Ferrari and Mercedes engines I think it will be a tough order to fill. All the reports from this past season have said the Mercedes is much more efficient which will be crucial with no refueling during the races this season. Still should be an exciting season, unfortunate that Kimi couldn't find a seat as that would have meant five world champions racing this year. Four isn't bad tho.
