    So now that these high class restaurants have taken to calling green beans "Haricot Verts", I thought it would be funny to could come up with a few fancy-pants names for some regular chow. Add some if you have some...

    Hamburger = "Salisbury Steak Sandwich"

    Chicken Fried Steak = "Breaded Cutlet of Beef"

    Mashed Potatoes = "Creamed Pommes de Terre"

    Ketchup = "Tomato and Vinegar Sauce"

    So if the wife goes off with her girlfriends on a weekend ladies trip and you’re taking care of the kids alone, you can impress her.

    Wife: “What have you been feeding the kids?”

    Husband: “Last night we had Salisbury Steak sandwiches and pommes frite with a vinegar tomato sauce. Tonight, we dined on Neapolitan pie.”

    Wife: “Wow! You’ve become quite the gourmet!”

    Husband: “Heh, heh, heh...”
