Religion is often the only thing that can help some people stay on the right path. I hope this works out for Holmes, regardless of the religion he chose.

Scientology is a cult not a religion.

I sincerely hope thought Clayton finally cleans up his life & truly becomes a productive member of society. I wish this for him but even more so for his kids. They deserve to see their father turn his life around in a positive way.

Thanks for the post. I had read the original story.

In most cases I wouldn't steer anyone the path that Holmes has taken, however, in this case its a step in the right direction.

His perspective with his kids has seemed to change - lets hope so.

Major props to his friend and his family for taking Holmes in - nothing like good friends.

His cousin Katie probably steered him toward Scientology.

"Scientology is a cult not a religion."

    What's the difference?

All religions start out as cults. After about 200 years and more widespread acceptance they are considered "religions". Some think mormons are still a cult.
