we had quite a history with this man and the Piggies back in the Halycon days of the SWC in the 60's topped off by that classic in Fayettenam Dec 6 1969! It was quite fitting that he and DKR went out together that surreal night almost 7 years to the day , 12/4/1976. Since we are being nostalgic about the rivalry and coaches on this thread... I have memories & a ticket stub to the follow up game to the Game of the Century in FayetteNam 1969: Austin 1970, HORNS won 42-7... The game was not that close.
