Carolina 34 Temple 6 11:12 left in the 3rd quarter Mack is gettin' it done! Plus I picked UNC in my bowl mania picks. I desperately need some points today.
Huge win for Mack Brown year one. Today was the first time Mack Brown has ever faced a non-P5 team in a bowl game (although Temple is a former P5 team from the Big East). Even when Mack Brown was at Tulane, he had to play a Don James led Washington in the Independence Bowl. Mack Brown also never lost to a "group of 5" conference team while he was at Texas. So give Mack Brown, one of the best bowl coaches of all time, a non-p5 opponent in a bowl, even with a UNC team in need of a complete rebuild, and you get a 55-13 beatdown. Poooooor Temple. Coming off back to back 2-9 and 3-9 seasons, Mack Brown has done more with less year one by turning it around to a winning season, winning a bowl and should finish with top 20 recruiting class. The future is bright for UNC.
Aggy was already a 4.5 point favorite, but I still picked OSU. Does this mean I need to pick aggy? I never pick aggy for anything......
You are the one that has to live with your own conscience, so I will refrain from advice. These are weighty matters and can have lasting impact on a man.
aTm driving in the second, get inside the OSU 10 and Mond hard laterals it to the tailback on a dive for a fumble. Just a dumb play, but so Aggy.
Iowa up on USC 14-7. If you think our early recruiting class was not quite what we expected, check out USC's ranking. 83 ouch.
Yeah. If you ever think we underachieve based on resources and recruiting, there’s always USC... and Michigan...
Malepeai (RB) caught that wheel route TD for USC and had some hard nosed runs for first downs. Dude’s a baller.
Tied at 14 all in the beginning of the 4th. Mond scores on 67 yd. run to make it 21-14. His previous longest run was 35 yds. Now 24-21 aTm with OSU 1:04 left to recover the onside. aTm has the ball. drat.
I cant believe some of you people wanted Gundy to take over for Herman. Their playcalling (ie taking the ball out of Chubas hands) is stupider than ours, and that is saying something. Every time Chuba gets the pokes into aggie territory, OSU starts trying to throw the ball and goes backwards.
