I have never understood the Gundy hype. I have always thought that he was a horrible sideline gameday coach. The playcalling has been pretty bad tonight. As bad as the Ags have been I picked them to win. Why? Gundy.
Inconsistent execution to say the least. 24-21 aTm win. Drat. OSU is the most schizophrenic team in the B12.
USC QB takes hard hit on a long, completed pass, and his head bounces off the ground. He should have been evaluated for a concussion, but wasn't. USC scored and then recovered an onside kick. However, the QB injured his arm when he was hit just as he was winding up to pass. Backup QB in. He is sacked and USC has to punt. Iowa returner muffs punt but recovers it.
So Bru was having great practices and back to full strength and amazing Harrell but he is not playing? Maybe I have just missed seeing him?
It is interesting to see what AFA does with undersized linemen on 1st down runs when the defense knows it is coming. I wonder if Tom and Herb will watch some service academy films next year?
Well do you suggest that Chuba should run the ball every single down or almost every down? He's not Superman. I think you got a little over determined to make a point.
The only team Gundy coaches to beat is Texas. It doesn't seem to matter against anyone else. Just look at their record vs. their "rival" OU. Somebody else said this earlier this December... "OSU won't win because we want them to." This is an issue with other spares in this league as well. Case in point will be Iowa State tonight and Baylor in New Orleans. - Mike
If you took the points, you were still getting paid... As Brent Musberger ALWAYS says..."cashing tickets is what it is ALL about!"
