Mich, I guess we see things different.

For $787 billion, I expect more than a 1-2% drop. Especially, when we were told, unemployment wouldn't exceed 8% by the experts. So, I guess we really needed to spend $1.5 trillion? Or maybe we should have spent $2T and we'd under 8%?

If you needed a car, and gave a dealer $70k. But he brings you back a Kia, is that ok? Even though you needed car, couldn't you have gotten a better deal for your money?

So one giant pollitical payoff does not equal job creation? I'm shocked.

Hopefully the people that were paid off are enjoying their Hope and Change. I'm guessing they're enjoying the hell out of it.

OK, so you have an expectation for the 700 billion in TARP but not so much for the "bailout" monies. Why is that, Brother?

Brother, is it your contention that the sole purpose was to lower the unemployment rate? I

If you are going to stimulate the economy, at some point don't you need serious job growth? How can the economy make a healthy recovery without jobs?

    What do you think, Satch?
