The best way for me to think of the B12 game participants is lanes - which teams are likely to knock each other out, then have clear sailing.

OU vs. OSU is on next week, at night in Norman. Should be the best game of the week in the B12 - not sure who else is playing that's ranked.

The winner of this game should have clear sailing to the B12 game - OU has only W VA and Baylor, neither of which is very good. A win against OSU and winning out puts them at 7-2 in conference, probably enough for one spot.

For OSU, they have 3 more games - TT, Baylor, and TCU. Decently easy, but any game could be a loss this year. A loss to OU ties them with 2 losses, but OU would have the head to head.

Should be a good one - OSU is a good team this year, that has to be thinking they shot themselves in the foot over and over against Texas, otherwise they'd be undefeated for the year. OU has put things together after a pitiful start, and seems to be playing well.

You'd have to give the nod to OU, just because they win about 90% of the games in this series, but I could see OSU winning as well, if they don't turn the ball over about 5 times.

The other lane should be Texas / ISU. Both teams have relatively easy other games - KU and KSU for Texas, KSU and W VA for ISU. Similar to OU and OSU, a win by Texas gives Texas head to head against ISU, both at two losses.

Now in the scenario then that OU / OSU / ISU / Texas all have 2 losses, not sure who gets the nod then - most it won't end up like that as someone will lose some stinker game.

Yea, I think if Texas and the dirt burglars win out they face off in the CCG.

    Would be a clarifying game.

Texas wins - B12 champion, bests OU for the year for the first time (Texas won the RRS in 2018 but lost the B12 game, so OU "won" the year), and goes to a NY Day bowl.

OU wins - Herman is alone in the record books at having lost to OU twice in one year. Moves to a pitiful 1-5 record against OU, some Copper Bowl game or such, and hopefully his removal as head coach.

Can't get much more divergent than those two outcomes.
