Well.... we've given up 300+ passing, roughly 200 yards rushing, and an average of 40 points in each of the last two games. That's pretty darn close to what Tech's offense is putting up per game. I haven't seen anything in the last two weeks that makes me think this game will be any different other than the fact that Tech will almost certainly be starting their backup qb. The word is that he's reasonably capable so unless we have some kind of defensive epiphany, yeah, we very well might be watching the WVU game all over again.
I've already had a pre-game talk with myself that regardless of insipid play calling, bone-headed decisions, stupid penalties, lack of halftime adjustments, missed ref calls, and the eventual outcome of the game.... that, unlike last week, I will remain relatively calm in my posts on the HF game thread.
