mb, Please! They are starting off trying to outdo the NFL wannabes on Kirby. While I admit that they have a long way to go to achieve the level of overwhelming stupidity reached by Cal & his clowns, hiring Sumlin is certainly a good start. Maybe the Spring Branch ISD can lease them Reggie Grob Stadium, which seats about 3500.

Sumlin is pretty bad as an HC, at least out here at UofA. He was the head coach at Arizona from 2018-2020, compiling a 9-20 record. 2018 5-7 2019 4-8 2020 0-5 His W/L record got got progressively worse each year and his rear-end got canned after the short 2020 season. I loved that game. Was one of the few in my group that would spend a crazy amount of time bending those flanges just so to get a straight, or mildly turning right or left for a blocker. Fun times.
Not really. Because they pulled out of B12, aggy schedule was still messed up to the point they were playing 3 FCS/joke scrimmages per year. He was really a .500 coach with a normal schedule.

My understanding is that Chizik was pretty quick to deny the claims he was going to the USFL. That just didn't get reported by a lot of the outlets...
