Germany's Refugee Crises

An article that illustrates how political correctness inhibits dealing with what happened on NYE.

It's a brief discussion with two German feminists (in English) about the attacks. The older feminist advocates deporting migrants who commit acts of violence and singles out Islamic culture as a problem when it comes to protecting women from abuse.

The younger feminist rejects all of that - says it's racist and points out that sexual violence existed before the migrants arrived and says the problem on NYE is weak laws on sexual harassment. She also points out the Right's hypocrisy in allegedly only caring about sexual abuse of women when migrants are involved.

The fact that the nutcase younger feminist is taken seriously is part of the problem and why the issue is tough to deal with.

It also illustrates a shift between older and younger liberals. Old liberals have their white guilt, but they won't completely ignore a blatant fact that's staring then in the face. These younger PC-types will and will use even the weakest arguments and justifications to do so. It's stupidity taken to the extreme.

so the younger feminist is now reporting that the NYE type blockades of public transportation access is common occurrence in Germany, Europe, etc? She is breaking some serious news there. The media surely is racist to only report on the blockades by the Islamacist perps and not all these other similar incidents she is now breaking news about.(or is it breaking wind)

Yeah, we've had mass gropings before and did any one of you men say anything? NO! Of course, the women didn't say anything either because they weren't actually taking place, but that's irrelevant. If they HAD taken place, you wouldn't have said anything because white privilege sexism. Why are we even discussing this??? Hate speech!! Safe zone!! TWITTER OUTRAGE!!

Our mass gropings occur at rock concerts near the stage. I witnessed it while working the wall at an Alice In Chains concert in the 90's. Girls getting groped and pushed against the wall inside a mass of people complaining yet security was helpless to react. When I asked the girls whether they wanted to "get out" the answer was "no" as they knew they'd lose their prime viewing.

No, that isn't a parallel to the German allegations but we have those incidents here too. It wasn't the muslims at the Alice in Chains concert too but rather a bunch of undersexed male grunge fans.

It's REALLY not. And yet, here it is being interjected into the conversation for some unknown purpose...

Groups of males do stupid **** when there is no fear of repercussion. It's not a religious or cultural phenomena but rather a male phenomena. That doesn't make it acceptable but rather an observation.

Look at the college fraternity system problems for other examples.

    SH,

    Some pretty significant differences.

First, there isn't an organized effort to avoid prosecution and reporting of the gropings at Alice in Chains concerts.

Second, the gropings at the AiC concerts aren't coordinated affairs. They're random drunk dudes doing stupid things. The gropings in Germany were coordinated by several men ganging up on individual women. One is offensive and demeaning, buy the other is going to make a woman reasonably fear death or serious bodily injury.

Finally, not all gropings are created equal. I've never been to an AiC concert (though I'm sure it was cool), but I've been to a Jane's Addiction concert (which kicked ***) and saw some dudes going overboard. Generally I saw "T&A" grabbing - indefensible but very tame compared to what happened in Germany. Those were real sexual assaults - clothes ripped off, finger penetration, and at worst, full blown rape.

And as even you would admit, in the example that you cite, it's not that people are not interested in prosecuting or addressing. They simply can't do it without roping off the mosh pits and making everyone sit in their seat.

The quote that I was responding to had nothing to do with out-of-control crowds at concerts that are designed to amp people up and get them to act out of control. It was someone attempting to dismiss the idea that these mass violations (which Deez described quite well) are a reflection of a third-world culture that does not respect women. In her eyes, ALL men are equally disrespectful and guilty of the same violations. Why? Because she's been brought up to believe it's the case. In her eyes, a coordinated effort that amounts to mass rape is no worse than the guy in the elevator who won't stop looking at her butt. They're both violations.

Stockholm is warning people to stay away from their main train station. They at least admit they've lost control of the situation.

^ I am amazed at how readily europeans accept a lowe quality of life (stay away from train station) rather than attempting to face the problem in a more meaningful way.

I keep thinking "at some point, some sort of action will be taken," but maybe not.

Not all euro nations are bowing to the "migrants". Denmark will give pepper spray to females. A gun would be better but that is a start.
And there is talk of confiscating stuff from migrants to help fund the cost of their care. Many looked like they had pretty expensive smart phones. Those might fund a week of the food they are getting free.

hmm, disincentives for parasitic immigrants. novel idea as opposed to welcoming in immigrants who are skilled. Who would have thought of that?

It's not all Europeans. It's mostly wealthy Western European countries that feel guilty about past wars (Germany) and colonial empires (UK, France, The Netherlands) and the most hardcore socialistic countries (Sweden). The Eastern Europeans don't give a rat's ***.

It was the Eastern Europeans who stood up to the last muslim invasion in the 15th century. They probably saved Western Europe's a@@. The Bosnian Serbs have been fighting jihad for centuries.

The U.S. hasn't done much to stop the ethnic cleansing of Christians that's been going on since WW2 in the M.E., but we did step in to stop the Serbs in the 90s.

Apparently that vid of the 16 y o German teen was first posted on Facebook but has since been taken down by FB.
many speculate that was another attempt to control the narrative that people are ok with Merkel bringing in so many migrants.

Clean I had forgotten we stepped in to stop the Serbs. Sure helped our image with Muslims:rolleyes1:.

Yep. Clearly it is. Yet if she made a facebook post/video about it she would be silenced. These cases seem to indicate the broad brush is needed with respect to these immigrants.

Round them up and send them to a camp in Jordan, Syria, Gaza, etc. Let Saudi, Iran, Jordan, xyz Middle Eastern country foot the bill.

The Alternative für Deutschland Party is making inroads in the upcoming regional parliament elections. AfD is tame compared to other nationalistic parties in Europe like the National Front in France, but it's making the migrant issue a major part of its campaign.
