Baylor wide receiver Chris Platt indicated on Twitter that the Bears are wearing black uniforms for Saturday's home game against TCU to protest the firing of former coach Art Briles. http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0586549625574396513-4
Has anyone there ever "protested" the assaults on those young women students at Baylor? That might be something worth protesting.
all 3 of my siblings went to bailer and 2 of them (the ones that didn't go to law school) both drink that green and gold koolaid--they feel that Briles didn't know anything, that it is the regents fault all of this happened, and blames it all on someone else (including The University)--that place in wacko is getting as deranged as collie station. Sad, really...
I can't believe Baylor is wearing black unis to protest the firing of Art Briles. Like nothing ever happened. They richly deserve what is going to keep coming down on them. I don't want Texas in the same conference with them. Disgusting situation.
Haha. Maybe the Bear fans are wearing black to mourn the demise of their football program. Going down big time, and not just today. And the horse they rode in on. They should have owned up to what happened, and cleaned house after the cover-up was discovered. Sweeping it under the bearskin rug was not the best idea.
Now they are talking about the weight the players have had to carry. Can you imagine what it is like to be a football player at BU? Why not ask what it's like to be a raped woman at BU?
I like Joel Klatt more and more all the time. He just said let's not forget about the victims in this.
Now 55-22. And the stands at Toilet Seat Stadium are empty. All the Baylor fans got flushed out maybe.
