We played much better even though it was close. Hopefully we will continue to improve. We need to cut down on the service errors. Go Horns!

 

I wonder why Allison decide to have a off night in the Semi-Finals.
If we could pass and set,this would be easy for Texas.

This is the nice thing about settling it on the field/court - we pick it up and win here nobody's going to downgrade us for how close or ugly it was.

 

Have to give Wisc some credit, they can play some D.

 

Can't pass worth a flip.

 

Oh well, we certainly didn't deserve to win with that effort.

We played good the last 2 games but the terrible start hurt our chances.

 

I respectfully disagree Bill. The only aspect of the game we did well in was blocking and we should have, we were a lot taller on the net.

Our setters didn't set well, our DS' didn't pass well, our hitters seemed scared and our serve receive/serving was terrible. Don't know why they played like they did but again you have to give Wisc's D credit, they played outstanding.

Oh well, still a good year over all. Nice try ladies.

Texas did not play Texas Volleyball tonight.I have no ideal what team stepped on that floor, it was not Texas.I also noticed Bell was not as vocal as she needed to be.I understand Allison and Bailey were Senior's.But you have to have a Captain with a Voice.You can't make a shy player into a Captain.And Bailey is a quiet young lady.If you paid attention to McNeal last year,she was a terminator and a Leader on the Floor.Bell give you that.She would have been my Captain this year. I was so disappointed in no fight from Texas.Unbelievable
