Great Netflix Series for Long Flight?

We’ve subscribed to Netflix for years but we never watch anything. I have an 18 hour flight Friday. Any suggestions for one or two series? Nothing too heavy, and we do like comedy.

You might already know this, but forgive me if you do. Make sure you download to your device before the flight. Most airplane WiFi’s will not stream from NetFlix or other streaming sources.

 

I thought "Mindhunters" was terrific
A bit tedious at times (with a little bit of "woke" thrown in, of course) but a fascinating depiction of the historical development of the FBI's Behavioral Sciences unit starting in the early 1970s

 

Messiah is great

 

My wife and I just finished Season 1 last night. My rating is meh.

 

Believe we saw the 5 part series called "Chernobyl" on Netflix. We thought it was really good. It was nominated for or received some recent awards.

 

Not sure what platform carries these series (Netflix, Amazon Prime) but they have all been very entertaining:

Ozark
Goliath
Tombstone

 

I really liked Goliath at first but I have gotten kinda tired of all the weirdness. They have good stories, they don't need the occult crap.

I like Bosch a lot, it's on Prime as I recall.

 

I thought the first season was really good but the second did get weird and just lost me. It’s made me appreciate good writing when I see it.
