    It was great getting to meet Hornfans posters for the first time. Seeing the faces behind the names makes this board livelier and more interesting.
    I finally got to meet Earl Campbell for a brief moment and get his sig on my very unique Texas cap. Kudos to the ones that made it;
    Dionysus, Bevo Beef, UT Vol Horn and all.
    It was a very good experience and I enjoyed going to Scholtz afterward.
    I will try to give my breakdown on observations of the game in a later thread.

    Two other details from the trip that stood out. One was meeting Tim Crowder. Could not believe his upper body size! We could really use a DE like him NOW. The other was meeting Quan at the fence. He seemed a little perturbed when I addressed him as " Quan" and retorted back with a sharp "Mister Cosby"! I had no problem being corrected, especially with the thought of that diving over the end zone at tOSU. And of course the critical catches on the final drive against USC in the Title game. Sooo THANK YOU MISTER COSBY!

    I didn't recall his having any catches in that final drive, but nonetheless he was great to watch. The block on the long Shipley catch in the 2008 ou game....man!

    Quan made the critical catch that included a USC 5 yard face mask penalty in that final drive 06 Title game, that essentially kept the drive alive. ( should have been 15 yd. IMHO)

    He was making sure he formulated his thoughts to the written word properly so as to not be uphauling and idoitic, which would not sit well with the group and would cause major disgruntlement.

    Or, he's just really slow to post.
