Per Hookem.com contributor Matt Butler, he's been told by a source close to the baseball program that Texas assistant coach Tommy Harmon will not return for the 2013 season. Harmon has been a part of the Texas coaching staff since 1989 and has been the associate head coach since 2004. We're trying to track down more details, but it looks like this is a move that will happen according to our sources.
Judging from the title of this thread, I was looking forward to hearing about all the good he's done since he was hired in 1989.
He certainly has done a lot for UT and I'm going to miss him. That said, probably time for new blood.
