I would like to see Heard come out passing. A long pass to Burt, first play. K St. will put 8 in the box and they have good LBs to stop the run. They will have a spy on Heard, and say ok Heard you will have to beat us with your arm. Just my opinion.
Our passing game needs to work the mid-range routes, slants, curls, etc....All we throw are deep balls and hitch and bubble screens. That is not a passing game that is going to make defenders work.
Well, I hope the Horns call the touchdown play early and often. On D, I like to see the turnover scheme several times...
while we are making requests, I would like to see the 'horns execute the punt block play a few times as well as the kick return for a touchdown play at least once...bonus would be the punt block play for a touchdown
When was our last pick six? I like those. Seriously, according to the weather peeps, there may be a deluge Saturday morning. I don't think we will see a lot of passing. Just hold on to the ball.
Lot less worried about a wet field than I am the slick ball. Even light rain will make the ball slippery and much harder for a mild-armed Heard to get it downfield. Same goes for their QB, but I assume they prefer a runfest.
"I bless the rains down in Austin or Africa. Gonna take some time to do the things we never had." Think we will get it done though.
I have it on good authority that CS will have the fans 'SMH' and screaming at the TV at some point in the game. He will follow it up with more body surfing and finger pointing.
Ok, I wrote the title drinking adult beverages and early in the week. Looks like we need a Noah game plan. Spilt the middle and run.
If Charlie is for real and has turned the corner, we'll know it on Saturday. If he's the inept coach he's been for 1.5 years, we'll know that, too.
Or maybe this Saturday won't reveal anything of significance about Charlie Strong or the long term prospects of the program under his leadership.
Try VH1 Classic in the mornings. They show legit music videos from back in the day when people used to gather together in a room just to watch music videos. Still miss the 80's something fierce. A time when new movies and music videos were an off the hook event and rarely failed to deliver. Weird Al, Pac Man Fever, Howard the Duck...what other decade would nonsense like that be fun.
Ditto! The 80’s were a fun and interesting time to be young and in college. I still love so much music from that time. I have even gotten my kids into it.
