I wish our own had a lot fewer stickers on the back. It's a cluttered mess on an otherwise clean look.
I’m certainly biased towards our own but I have always liked the UM helmets as well, partly I think because they are so unique.
I think it was Fielding Yost, or some other old-timey coach that brought that helmet design from the Ivy League to Michigan. The bright pattern made it easier to see your own players or something.
stickers detract from helmets....also boost ego's of some players!!! only 15-20 helmets do I like; most are too busy IMO WHITEFACES *Horns *Michigan (no stickers) *Georgia *Bama *Tech (stay with Blk and Red) and do away with non essential add o for pants jersey's) *Volunteers *Nebraska *Wisconsin *Oregon Utah aggie (daughter in law has 3 degrees) *OU *LSU ND (sometimes) Ohio State (no stickers) Maryland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Army *Navy
If you clear the browser cache, you can vote more than once in a day. Might as well do something during all the down time during the bowl games. The vote is getting closer.
No offense, but I hate these polls. I like all of the Blue Bloods who refuse to fancy them up. Texas Penn State Michigan USC Alabama OU - they still suck
I agree with that list except for Penn State. It’s just too bland. Reminds me of those bland generic cereal boxes back in the day. But I guess it’s better than being decorated with a cute little lion wearing a beanie or sailor cap.
I’m interested to see what Mississippi State wears for their bowl game. It should be something like the Tampa Buccaneers in my opinion.
Damn I thought clearing your cache would allow you to vote again. Apparently not We need these people to run our national elections. Please vote
Maybe it's something with the browser (Brave) I use. I voted three times on Saturday. Or they changed the voting rules in the system. It won't let me do it today...
Fritz Crisler brought it from Princeton in 1938. Michigan wore plain black helmets prior to that. I think other schools wore winged helmets back in the leather helmet days. Michigan kept the design while others went to more modern styles.
