The difference between TH 2017 and TH 2018 is remarkable, I used to think he was John Mackovick part deaux and he may still turn out to be that but he has calmed down a lot and his attitude and demeanor is so much better this second year. The arrogance that oozed out of him last year is almost completely gone and that is a big difference.
I think last years TH persona was the "fake it til you make it" facade and its hard to pull off. It's much easier to pull off the "successful but humble" than it is to project swagger and confidence when things aren't falling your way. Objectively, last season would have been a great season if we'd scored 14 more points at the appropriate times and this season would suck if we'd scored 14 less points. We are definitely moving in the right direction and the team and coaches seem to be all buying in. When 14 points over the course of a season, makes the difference between 7-6 mediocrity and 11-2 glory, BELIEF and CONFIDENCE makes all the difference in the world.
