OK somehow I got hijacked by some search engine called Here To Find. Hijack This will not remove the files. Its pretty easy to tell which ones they are and they keep coming back after HJT says it cleans them off. CWS Shredder doesn't do anything either. Anyone have any suggestions?
I just downloaded the latest version of adaware se from download.com and it worked. Thanks for the help.
Sometimes after running Adaware, Spybot and HJT, I still have to go to Control Panel - Remove programs and find it in there. Sounds like you fixed it though.
before you run ad aware and such...go to the offending ad ware's web site and see if they provide instructions on how to uninstall it. Often...it's a pretty simple.
