Hornfans, help re: Shreveport

So, I'm headed to a bachelor party in Shreveport/Bossier City tomorrow, and was wondering if anyone had some last minute recommendations on where to get some good food. Nothing too classy as more than half of the party will likely be getting toasted. Cajun food or barbecue would be perfect.

Ralph and Kacoos is greatness. Growing up in Baton Rouge, it was one of my favorite seafood places.

 

Had R&K today. Its tremendous.

For something less formal, Papa's. One in Shreveport and one in Bossier.

 

im embarrassed to say that i have never been to shreveport before. im planning my first visit and was hoping to piggyback this thread and ask for any other general advice. lodging? food? gambling? poker? thanks much

 

yes last time i was in Shreveport i ate at Oscar's. veal piccata, outstanding.
