I don't know who can/will step up and lead the horns to victory over the dirt burglars today. We will see if the Horns can pull the upset.

ou off to a big lead. Horns defense giving the gooners way too much room. And ou is hitting their open shots.

Down by 14 at the half. Sigh...

Down 12 with 13:30 to go and espn game tracker has dirt burglars a 94% chance to win. Gotta love us some Shaka basketball.

This is on Roach more than Shaka.

And this is supposed to be one of the two games down the stretch we could count on winning. :smh:

Horns have cut ou's lead to 3 points with 2:38 to go. Ou calls timeout after Febres hits the three.

UNBELIEVABLE! Horns have the ball with 5.7 seconds left and AGAIN, had NO idea how to get a shot. That was a really disappointing (but typical this year as I've seen the same confusion at game's end time after time) end to the game.
Especially after a great come back to get into position to win.

At times our offense has looked really good this year - but near the end of each half, we generally revert to chicken-with-head-cut-off status.

Shaka coaching and Roach out, very good chance they lose out. But at least they came back on the road, another moral victory.

Stupidity is the best guess we can manage.

Violation of team rules is the official reason.

I don't give a **** which five are out there, down by two, under a minute left and have a shot clock violation? That is beyond stupidity and screams, "ZERO COACHING"!

Has anybody seen improvement under Shaka? We have him until 2022 IIRC, and he has a guaranteed contract worth about $10MM. :puke:

Meanwhile, tech is destroying ku in Lubbock. Remind me again about shaka’s great recruiting.

That is depressing: 2022. I just read where UT made approximately 11.5 million on basketball for 2016. So even though it would hurt, it is not completely out of the question to let Shaka walk. I do not think he deserves it, but I would give him one more year due to the big financial stakes.
