Purdue is a tough draw. They were #1 for a number of weeks earlier in the season, but faded a tad later. Purdue has some real quality bigs. 7’4” Zach Edey and All-American Trevion Williams (6’10” 255lbs) form a formidable front court. We’ve got to play tough and grab the boards. Don’t let them push us around down low. Allen and Disu are key to our performance. The good news: Purdue’s perimeter defense is suspect. We will get plenty of open (or semi-open/loosely guarded) 3 point opportunities. Hit plenty of them, and we probably win. Also, when Purdue has had lots of turnovers, they’ve lost. Keep the pressure D on and get those turnovers. Purdue is only favored by 3.5. But oooooooohhhhhh that frontcourt…. Go Horns!!!!
Yeah, that's been the wild card for us all season, hasn't it? I cringe thinking of how ugly this game will be if our guards are hitting 20% from 3 tonight.
Well, Purdue’s coach is way overpaid, and he doesn’t hold a candle to the legendary Gene Keady. I’d say we have the coaching advantage.
Thus far, we have no answer for Williams. Someone must get a hot hand. We need a scoring thunderstorm to end this long scoring drought.
legendary piece of **** legendary ******* legendary slimeball He is such a sorry excuse for a human being that I'd be ashamed to introduce him to your dog as a representative of the species I would rather have had dinner with Howard Schnellenberger than be in the same room with Keady or his roommate.
btw, I like that TurboTax ad with the teeny-tiny caption at the bottom that says: "Spray simulated. Do not attempt"
We were up 14-8 when I dozed off on the couch for about twenty minutes, only to find we were now down like 14-18. It really had me confused for a moment as to how long I'd been out.
Yeah. When Febres—a shooting specialist—misses the front end of a one-and-one, that’s not a good sign.
