It is the coaches job to put his players in the best possible position to succeed. Orlando’s scheme which he refuses to change plays to the weaknesses of the players on the field. How about this, three down lineman with either Hagar or Roach as the rush end/lb like you have in a true 3-4 defense. Quit sending a fourth rusher from deep in the secondary and on the outside.
So it’s a **** pass that was on the money yet high so our 6’4” receiver had an advantage? I bet there’s a lot of qbs n coaches that’ll take those odds. You’re just flat wrong and fake news on that one! Hook ‘em!
I'm disappointed. I was thrilled that Chris was ejected, because then we could mount a joint attack on Bowelsby to fire Walleye and all the BigSky/MWC officials and replace them with competent officials that have nothing to do with the dental industry.
Whew! At least we were spared the sight of spawn of Gap Kid and Strawberry Blonde Chick with Tanktop carrying a goalpost over to the LHB.
Tech QB was 37-47 444 yards 4 TDs and 1 pick Tech Carter 1-1 10 yards Total Rush Yards 33 carries 141 yards 2 rush TDs Sam 22-34 312 yards 4 TDs Horns had 48 carries for 157 yards 1 rush TD Rushing leader - Ingram 14-83 yards 1 TD Receiving leader - LJH 8-159 yards 2 TDs Horns NO turnovers We all know this, but the D needs major improvement.
Yea, we have all been driniking the kool-aid that we are a top 10 team. Each week we have to pull a rabbit out of our hat to win or come close. And then we think, hey, next week we’ll finally play our A game...and it has yet to appear. I think the reality is we are really not a very good team....at least not top 10....maybe top 20. We just have way too many holes with a coaching staff that is learning on the job....and very slowly at that! But, we are still in the CCG hunt and a long shot at a NY’s 6 spot. But, don’t get your hopes too high. ISU will be a dog fight & then if the pattern holds, KU will not be a cakewalk. But, I’m still encouraged.
DING! DING! DING! We have a winner! Lack of physicality + Bad angles + Piss poor tackling + Questionable scheme (three man front?) + Repeated stupid penalties + O-line whiffing on blocks (not just him, but tonight Anderson got owned) + Numerous dropped passes + Untimely 3 & outs = not a very good football team. IMO we're pretty fortunate to be at seven wins.

Yes, that’s a “7-3” illusion![/QUOTE] Better than a 6-6 team discussing how a bunch of "what-if" scenarios coulda woulda shoulda been 9-3 or 10-2....this year's bunch has overachieved AND let some slip away, so 7-3 woulda coulda shoulda 9-1...….
The D gave up 17 points in the last 6 minutes to allow Tech to tie the game at 34. The 4th Qtr has not been good for our D the last several games including ou.
The reality is, if Sam and the O struggles, the D can hold the opponent from scoring, repeatedly. This crap started late against ou and continues to be an issue. We have some dinged up players, but show me a team at this point in the season that doesn't. A whole unit that goes cold in the entire first or second half is a problem.
I think he went the whole season in high school without throwing a pic...that is an amazing stat to me.
First of all Gary is really fast secondly Because he has momentum and can't levitate. It's called hustling.
