Kind of interesting what the biggest contracts in baseball do and dont do -- generally they do not make the playoffs. Is this Cole's fate, ala Scott Boras?

    Mike Trout LAA 12 years $430+ million/$35.8+M/year
Bryce Harper Phils 13 years $330M/$25.3M
Giancarlo Stanton Mia 13 years $325M/$25M
Manny Machado SDP 10 years $300M/$30M
Nolan Arenado Colo 8 years $260M/$32.5M
Miguel Cabrera Det 8 years $248M/$31M
Albert Pujols LAA 10 years $240M/$24M
Robinson Cano Seat 10 years $240M/$24M
Left off- Alex Rodriquez - lol

Does MLB need a salary cap?

I would be willing to let Correa go if we could get Rendon. Correa is pretty injury-prone and Rendon would probably love to play for his hometown team. We put him on 3rd and move Bregman to SS.

History tells us there's a good chance 1 or more of these guys return home...Bailey the most likely to stick with the O's.

Makes you mad that they couldn't win a post season series in the 90s.

    Seems harsh
I guess we can say at least they didnt ban Luhnow for life
To me, the draft picks hurt the most. This sort of guts us because the slot values go away too, which will make it harder to sign other draft picks to above-slot money. The farm system is going to suffer for awhile.
