It's my understanding that this year does not count against player eligibility, and that scholarship limits will be increased from the current 85 to account for this. So any senior who wants to come back and play next year, can. I wonder how many from Texas will, and how this will impact things. You'd think that those seniors with good NFL propects would leave, but that's usually only 3-5 at Texas the past few years. Some seniors who haven't had much playing time might leave and go elsewhere as well. That said, I wonder how many scholarship players Texas will have next year. Probably a lot will depend on who's coaching as well - a coaching change might cause a big turnover of players to other schools.
