I'm pretty sure they are, but just wanted to check given the dangers on the lake and if they affected the restaurant.

    Thanks.

you go to hula hut for the atmosphere, not the food.

His 17 year old pallet is not yet discerning. His old man knows the ropes however, so fear not for me.

I'm one of the rare ones that goes to a restaurant to eat, and eat what tastes good. 'atmosphere' is what meteorologists report on. [IMG] I understand. My dad actually is much the same. I often have to go where he wants and he likes about 5 things.

Hula Hut is fine if you get the tubular tacos. And the scenery is great.

I wonder if my 17 year old picked it for the food or the scenery?

Yes, it's open. Went last week.

And don't hate on the food. The tubular tacos, chicken pipeline enchiladas, hawaiian fajitas, and chicken chile rellenos are all good. [IMG]

Had the shrimp and spinach tubular taco which was more than satisfactory. The visual assests were also more than satisfactory. Sure did seem crowded for a Tuesday, though. One hour wait on a table when we got there at 6:30.
