While his comment about UT running up the score on Aggies is uncalled for (I imagine he just saw the by line that we scored 21 in the 4th w/out bother to check how), I agree with his premise that a play-off system would lessen the need for 'style' points.

But, OU can't argue the 'need' to' run up the score. They were an obvious lock for the NC. Absolutely no need for that last drive. Either keep your starters in and run between the tackles. Or play your back ups with a little more lattitude. But, no way should Bradford be bombing for the end zone.
