Imani was named POTW in Israel. I didn't realize so many Americans/WNBA players were in that league - Tiffany Jackson-Jones, Alex Harden, Kelly Farris... http://www.eurobasket.com/Israel/news/480092/Best-players-of-Israeli-D1-round-17?Women=1
She's playing very good basketball over there - got this from the LA Sparks story when she signed with them a few weeks ago: "The 6-foot-3 forward is currently playing in Israel for Maccabi Ashdod and is averaging 16.7 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game."
About 98% of the WNBA plays overseas...plus many more U.S. college players who don't make the WNBA find/ have found homes overseas (Chas Fussell, Empress Davenport, Ashley Gayle, Ashley Fontenette, etc., etc.)
Oh, I know they play overseas (make better money doing it) but I'd only heard where the 'big' names were playing - Russia, China, S. Korea and Turkey come to mind. Just didn't realize Israel was a common landing place.
