You'd think, but they haven't reeled him up to now. Then again, they still let crazy Maxine on TV as well.

What about the elected Democrat who though Guam might tip over?
    Is he still around?

I don't know, but the bottom line is that anyone who votes for any Democrat is idiotic for doing so.

I was careful to say that voting for a Dem is idiotic, not that the person is idiotic.

Don't count on anybody to apologize. The usual suspects here fell for another story invented by the democrats and their MSM allies.

The investigation may be done just to cover up for Biden inc. Hitlary was investigated many times and she has yet to receive any sort of justice.

Trump held up military aid to an ally in the middle of a shooting war to leverage an investigation into his rival. No apologies necessary except to Lt. Vindman.

Hmmmm. You don't deny Biden did wrong. But it's all ok because Orange Man did it too. So as long as you can find something done by your enemy that's as bad, you can justify any behavior. Interesting ethics. Maybe it works in gay redneck tigerhoma.

My understanding is that Biden was working on behalf of the us and the rest of the world to have a corrupt prosecutor removed. This has been litigated here previously.

And it was just a strange coincidence that the "corrupt" prosecutor was investigating Barisma, which was paying Hunter somewhere north of $50K per month. Really strange.....

PS: Now Ukraine has supposedly indicted Joe Biden and others involved with Biden inc. Should make for some interesting international phone conversations

I am man enough to admit all the board liberals and all the board pretend-conservatives were wrong about that. Somebody has to be a man around here.

I know I'm messing with the hornets nest, but how exactly does this exonerate Trump? I understand the argument that he didn't commit an impeachable offense (which is pretty much subjective) or that the prosecution failed to prove their case, but I don't follow the logic that Hunter Biden being under investigation (whether guilty or not) makes Trump's actions more defensible. If anything, it makes them dumber. His own Justice Department was conducting a legitimate investigation of Biden, and he decides to run some sleazy-looking side operation with Giuliani in charge.

Might have been sleazy but he was correct in the main. It served US purposes to know whether Biden family is paid and bought for. It was important for my vote. Like most things Trump, he was right but did it wrong. Not impeachable.

But the basis for impeachment wasn't that he investigated an innocent man. The basis for it was the "how," not the "what." The "how" matters.

Think about the reverse. Suppose Hunter Biden could somehow completely and conclusively prove his innocence. Would that make Trump's actions more impeachable? No, because that wasn't the issue.
