Well said. This is a process. Coach G couldn't bring her players with her. I think that this year's results do take some of the blame off of Conradt since the group performed about the same. However, what recruits now see in Texas is a program that is making the necessary changes to turn the program around. IMO, Conradt's last couple of years were tarnished by the performance of the players in the program and sometimes the only way to turn things around is to make a change at the top. It is not always fair but is a fact of life.
Seattle, that is not like you....got a thorn in your paw? O-Hoops, sorry if I misinterpreted your statement at the outset... I just thought you were saying that the players were not buying in to Coach G's system, and her positive energy, and I disagreed. So what "issues" do you still see going on?? I am just wondering, because I don't see it, and since no one gets to go to practice, either you have an inside source, or you ARE on the inside. Or, maybe you have better eyes??
seattle, nobody's wearing rose-colored glasses. some of us are just able to see past wins and losses or the number of people in the stands and can see a drastic change for the better. in parting, since you've written off this season, we'll see you next year then -- when you're trying to jump back ON the bandwagon. i hope you didn't hurt yourself too bad when you jumped OFF of it.
