And yet Sark could have gone anywhere he wanted.
Even admitted to saying no to other opportunities.
But when this one came up he jumped.
Your view is tinged by your crusty old fart negative reality. :)

I’ll be surprised if Meyer succeeds. But, he probably likes the venue for his family, given his connections to FL.

He can have Ash and Charlie. From what I saw they are and were overrated.

My guess is he will dislike the NFL just like Saban.

The Urb could also ask Steve Spurrier about the transition from college to NFL.

I was all on board for him to come to Texas. I loathe the NFL, anyway, so I hope he fails.

George Bailey No beans in my chili, thank you

One of the radio heads just said UM was negotiating a contract in the neighborhood of $12 mil a year. Saban made 9.3 last year.

Meyer was never coming here. Thank you, Jesus...

I told people on here that his not coming to Texas wasn't about health or family and was scoffed at or ridiculed by some.

Kingsbury? Aren’t we a bit premature, and really hopeful? I agree with the first two. Who else? It’s rare. And other than Carroll, what HC has won a championship at both levels?

I doubt even he knew. He is and has always been an integrity challenged individual. But would I have taken him here? Yes, with concerns. But I really like the guy we got.........so far.

He will lose more games in his first year in the NFL than his last 10 in college and that is if he has an ok first year. I have a hard time seeing college coaches who lose maybe 6 games in four years adapt to the pro game where if you lose that many in a year it’s often not only acceptable its lauded.

I watch this team more than most others since they are in my division and are a rival for a reason I never fully understood.
He is not coming into the type of empty roster full of hacks the 1-15 record might suggest.
They have already have 2 good young WRs (Chark and Shenaullt), a good young RB (James Robinson) and two good OLBs (Myles Jack and Joe Schobert). Plus Cam Robinson looks like he will be a solid LT.
And he will get TLawrence at QB with the #1 pick
They still have plenty of holes to fill but UM is a known excellent talent evaluator and he will have a lot of draft picks
This would be more fun to watch if it was happening in a different division

What a steal for them, just like Poona for Seattle
Our poor reputation helped drag him down in the eyes of the NFL

I agreed with you both... this UM seems to be untrustworthy in his actions versus his words.

2 Poops. Wonder why. The job is what it used to be? Best job in the nation? I actually only respect one of the Poopers, so maybe he will speak up.
