Impressive shooting effort in the second half for the Tigers, but our D hasnt been exactly stifling. Our FT shooting is really starting to concern me.

No defense and no defensive rebounding.

I'd be impressed if they could repeat this performance against air.

    Terrible D = fantastic shooting.

    Missed FT's = a loss

We don't deserve to win but I hope we do...

Someone explain Ian Mooney in Big XII play... he is wise open open and is still not a threat!

Reminds me of the ugly guy who was a Senior on OK States team last season. Only he made a huge 3 point play in the triple overtime game.

    Ian Mooney playing...someone explain?

Don't know if its Barnes as much as the players.

D.J. missing FT's again and poor shooting.

    A.J dribbling off his foot.

Damion missing a point blank lay up

    Atchley Fouls

    Mason = Mason

Just an all around horrible performance and it just gets worse

    Gary Johnson
    Is he taking outside shots?
    Conner Atchley 1-1 not shooting?
Wish I could see what is going on.

Today was a complete travesty on D.

That was the worst performances I have seen since the debacle against USC last year.

Gary hasn't played much but when he did he could have been confused for Ian Mooney.

Conner has been making dumb fouls and taken a couple hook shots and 1 three pointer.

We are missing virtually every free throw.

    no excuse for this performance.

    Another missed FT

You can't lay an egg opening conference play.

This really does not look good

What has happened to this team?

Over the past month, Conner and Justin have been absoutely terrible. DJ can't find his shot, and for some reason, he's trying to copy Shaq with his FT shooting. Abrams has been very hit or miss. James is the only player actually bringing a game night in and night out. Since the UCLA game, this team has pretty much been flat out bad.

Shooting 40 percent from free throw line equals defeat

The FT shooting is just unacceptable.

It looks like we need to do more for endurance.

We look like we are running in sand.

Bottom line we will not win a game in Big XII play with Ian Mooney playing extended minutes.

All the booing is unnecessary. Mizzou, like everyone, LOVES to beat Texas.

to me its all about DJ. He's having the same consistency problem that he had as a freshman.

When he is on he is an absolutely amazing player and we are a great team, but when he can't hit any of his shots and is turning it over this team is very very average.

If you've watched the Horns the last few weeks, Mooney has played a lot. More than Pittman and Chapman. Mooney is very smart at getting into position and defending. Something our other posts suffer at. Our three point defense is better when Mooney is in. Johnson has not had a good game.
    Our FT's by Augustine--shocking.

Even with the horrible FT shooting, bad defense, and Mizzou not being able to miss in the 2nd half, we still should have never looked this bad.

    0-1 in conference really sucks.

It is called road game and they will all be tough. Texas looked pretty good beating a solid St. Marys team recently. Just a bad day all the way around. Losing on the road in the Big 12 is going to happen to you a few times.

Regardless of if he has played in non-conference games...conference play is a different animal as we saw today.
I have nothing against Ian Mooney, but:
He should not be playing on a top 15 college basketball team. Period.

I agree that teams will lose on the road in conference but this was different IMO.

    1) We played Mizzou, not KU or A&M or even OU
    2) We didn't show up in the 2nd half
    3) We were embarrased
    4) Seemed like we gave up in the end
    5) FT's
    6) Missing easy shots
