I know. We all know that. But every now and then, we get confirmation. Now, he’s slobbering all over Saban’s junk. Enjoy: Jimbo Fisher Calls Nick Saban A 'Tremendous Coach'; Is Their Relationship Actually In 'Great Shape'?
Aka…. A thought we were going to roll Bama with all of the players we bought. That ain’t happening, so I am eating crow now before they hand us our ***. Jimbo let me give you a leadership lesson- “I let my emotions get the best of me. I took what nick said out of context and I regret saying the things I said. Nick is a friend and mentor to me and I am sincerely embarrassed by my words” Not. Golly he’s a great coach and we are good. Sellout man. Read Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willinick.second Best book I’ve ever read, there Jimmy.
Jumbo, wishing won’t make it happen. Saban attacked the ag’s NIL success. Jumbo attacked the character of Saban. I respect Saban as a coach but will respect him less as a man if he gets Jumbo down and does not put his foot on the throat. Nobody should ever let the Aggies off the mat. They are never to be trusted. Their so called “code of honor” is a facade.
my ancestors created a word to describe what I like to feel about some Aggies Schadenfreude I hope to have a gusher of it Saturday Rammer Jammer
It looks like Jimbo is ready to grab his ankles this Saturday. Just hoping If he says nice things this week, Saban will be considerate and use lube.
There is little if anything anyone could say of a derogatory nature about Jimbo with which I would not agree. However, revenge games can be funny. They have not been good to us over the past decade. No doubt Nick wants to beat the holly crap out of Jimbo, and he should. But will he? I certainly hope so, but it might not be the cakewalk we are all expecting. That said: Bama 52 Aggies 12
Make it 78-0; Bama goes for two late in the game to "best" Bob Stoops & OU for the worst loss in aTm's history.
Bible #1. Cover to cover at 23 years old in about a week. Roommates flipped out, changed my life, with still a lot to work on 35+ years later. “Find someone who plays well and bring him to me” (1 Samuel 16:17) said by Saul… but could also be attributed to Sark. (Last paragraph to meet criteria set by the “what’s this got to do with football” zealots here)
Can you imagine a Nick Saban Bama team with Leach as OC? I just jizzed, in, my pants, thinking about it.
I'm thinking West Virginia is going to want a new coach soon. Maybe if "Mama calls" the Ags and Mountaineers can negotiate a happy outcome.
His one year with Stoops at OU we beat them but only because Leach did not have a single WR on the team. After we won, I warned people that when Leach got a couple of WRs, we were in deep ****. Next year, Leach left, Mangino came in, got a couple of WRs, and it was really ugly.
