Everybody has to have a label or a brand these days. The California wine industry has almost completely whored itself out to custom crush facilities, mega purple, and fat, overextracted, high alcohol plonk. On the other hand, that **** sells and some people make money at it. I just miss the authenticity of a family growing grapes in a specific location, and actually using their own grapes to make their own wines.
Hell, if you want good, very reasonably priced Texas wine, all you have to do is buy McPherson. Kim is, in my opinion, the best winemaker in the state, and he only uses grapes grown near Lubbock, in vineyards he can oversee. He also only employs varietals that like the aridity and heat found in the High Plains, so expect to see grapes native to southern France and Spain for the most part. Across the board, it is really good juice, and as authentic as you will get.

I have worked with several governmental agencies and been subject to several others. In order to obtain equity based on race a lot of white guys are going to have to be hired.

If "delivering equitable outcomes" means "you get what your accomplishments deserve," I'm all for it. But I suspect the libs really mean "equal outcomes" - in which case it's a call for "everybody gets the same results, regardless of accomplishments" - which is absolutely absurd.
