Was it deleted? Can't find it anywhere.
Are ou thinking about the one on "On the Field"? It is on the first page.
Thanks Viper. I always just refresh New Posts. That's a football forum so I never knew it was in there.
Spieth finishes at -5 after an opening round of 65 in The British Open.......good enough for 2nd right now.
A couple of his recovery shots in the middle holes made up for some bad driving.
Colin Morikawa is killing it ........6 under thru 12 and -9 for the tourney.............Speith better light it up today.......
birdie at #10 to move to -8 tied for 2nd with Oosthuizen...........Morikawa put up a 64 to lead currently at -9.
Cool to see three former Longhorns in the top five (at least for now).
Frittelli and Spieth representing.
Don't forget Scheffler!
Didn't realize he was Texas Ex!
I'm behind on the coverage a bit, but I just caught where Dan Hicks noted that with Spieth and Frittelli in the next to last group, you have two Texas Longhorns in that group.
NBC's coverage has always and continues to suck. Poor audio, and the ball is very difficult to follow. Can't stand "Zinger", Koch, et al. Feherty used to be funny, but his schtick has worn thin.
Birdie to go six under in his last eight holes from what they were saying...SpiethMode is indeed activated at one stroke back of the leader. I believe he is on to 15 now...he's got a shot as long as Ooustie like meltdowns are avoided...or worse, a VandeVelde-like collapse.
Those two bogies on 17 and 18 ended up killing him. That said, great round to finish 2nd.
3 Longhorns finish in the top 10 (2 in the top 5). Not bad seeing how they were playing on a course that doesn't measure up to some munis in Texas.
he left several putts just off the cup............Morikawa was ice on the greens............came in ranked like 121 in putting on tour and was #1 this week at the Open...........drive for show putt for dough!
2 Longhorns anchoring the Golf Channel studio shows. And, Chamblee picked Morikawa because of his ball striking.
Spieth and Hossler finish 2nd and 3rd at the Bing Crosby Pebble Beach clambake.
Behind a Fort Worth and Colonial friendly guy.
Spieth wins the RBC Heritage Classic Sunday !
Well done Jordan!
TPC Byron Nelson @ Craig Ranch in McKinney Sat.:
After round 3 Jordan is -20 and 1 back from Munoz -21.
Great position to make a run for the championship on Sunday!
One shot back of the winner and degending champ.
Hot, dry, few trees. Tour pros dream come true. Thought early on we might see 30 under.
Jordan battled at the Byron Nelson today and came very close ... one stroke would have tied it. Gosh, I wanted him to win it today!
A great young professional and a great representation for The University of TEXAS.
As he finished his round on Sat. and was walking off, did you see him give that ball out of his bag to that young boy!?
I was was very impressed by that that.
