Here's a link that is pretty good comparing Barret to Swoopes. Both were highly regarded by Texas. We likely would have offered Barret had Swoopes not committed. Swoopes vs Barret It's a tough call. Barret is more polished according to the experts, but Swoopes supposedly has more upside. Me? I don't know nothing, amigo.

Shark, who's the new OC up there? As for Barrett, he's the real deal. He's got a very good arm, and he has the legs to get out of trouble and make a positive out of a negative play. We'd have loved to have both him and Swoopes, but had to go with one or the other.
This is a very good year for high school Qb's in the state of Texas... not sure Texas could have done better in Kohl, Barrett, etc... but I do like Swoops upside!
