We’re going to need more incoming JC players to dig us out of the current mess. Frankly, I’d like to see us take more JC transfers annually going forward.

This year’s big JC transfer needs:

    Rush DEs
A QB (yes we have good prospects in our pipeline, but none are proven at the college level yet other than Sam)
Maybe an OL if we can find one good enough

Think bigger. Instead of recruiting JC players, why not UT football acquire a JC to move their operations to, much like a larger private company acquires a smaller publicly traded company so they can get access to the stock market. Similarly, UT can reach recruits without worry about the Eyes and such.

Agree Chop. In fact I think that is our only chance for salvation!

Since we now have the transfer portal available, maybe we could just move it down I-35 and call it UTSA. Use it with the transfer portal as a talent feeder school.

Chop, an experienced grad transfer is better to have, but a JC QB is basically a 6th year high school senior that has to shave daily.

Well have to go back and search. But I believe we have no JC offers out to this point.
