Hopefully 2020 will be a special. I believe that it could be.

I agree that 2020 could be a special year, indeed.

    If we can just tackle.

Alamo Bowl was a good indication because even when a tackle was not possible, the guy was slowed and greeted by at least 4 other defenders who did stop him. sometime it is enough to alter a player's course of direction or just slow him a little when the defense swarms.

How many blown or missed tackles did we have against Utah. What was their yards after contact? Both had to a be a low for Herman's tenure.

Just curious as to what happened to make the change.

1). It's twice as fun to win a bowl then it is a regular game?
2). The D wasn't confused on how to play their position now that Orlando's gone?
3). The walk on linebacker -57-taught the 4 Stars how to give effort?
4). Herman knows how to coach for bowls?
    5). We got healthier?
6). They played with reckless abandon knowing they have months to heal?
7). They weren't a good passing team, thus we could focus on the run?
    8). All of the above.
    9). None of the above.

I think we'll be ok on D. Gotta find go to receivers for Sam. Going to be absolutely loaded at running back.

Pursuit. Guys did not start celebrating before the play was over. It was a thing of beauty and necessity.

Not 7.) as they are a good passing team but do run first as a better running team.

What many people do not realize that Texas made their DL, star LB, heavier and good OL, very good QB, excellent RB just disappear. Their tight end would have killed us if he got the ball more than the 3 times he did.

Texas Defense and OL played lights out and everyone else came to the party.
