Interesting game. Tennessee has the most static offensive scheme in the NCAA, and in the first half they looked terrible. Notre Dame couldn't miss and looked invinceable. But they let Tennessee hang around. Then Notre Dame just kind of disintegrated in the fourth quarter, blew their big lead, and let Tennessee steal it at the very end of the game. Give Tennessee credit for picking up the defensive intensity and starting to hit timely jump shots. But that alone didn't do it. Suddenly Notre Dame's shooting went south. They missed shots they made with ease in the first half and lost a lot of rebounds. Despite having Brianna Turner, they seem to lack bangers down low. They looked vulnerable to pressure.
