is there any way to score very last minute flights for cheap just because they aren't at capacity (kind of like priceline name your price for hotels)? i'm not talking about going on vacation in a week......this specifically pertains to flying to washington dc for the weekend. leave today and return sunday. any advice?
If you're willing to return on Monday instead, American has a round trip fare of $258 waiting for you out there. I'm assuming that you're starting from somewhere close to, or connecting through, DFW. That's going to be pretty hard to beat. If you absolutely must return on Sunday, fares are pricing out at $900+. It's a published fare, so you should be able to get it anywhere.
