I guess Curry was embarrassed to take KD under the circumstances, so James has him and Kyrie. And then Westbrook coming off the bench? Cousins and Davis to try to handle some great bigs, but mostly a wash. Better offense, better defense I guess Curry has the core of the pre-KD warriors, plus Harden and some bigs, but I just don’t see it.
Before the picks, it was said Curry would pick first. Actually, LeBron picked first, and apparently took KD. So, Curry didn't pass on him. I was thinking that maybe Curry was thinking that if he picked KD and LeBron picked Kyrie, that it would basically look like last year's final, and that would not be as fun. Not what happened.
